Questions and Answers
The Boat
Our boat, Nordan, is designed for safe navigation in Norwegian fjords. It may not be large, but it is practical and small enough for touring Copenhagen’s narrow canals.
When you take a harbor tour with us, you are essentially on a family outing in a private boat. Despite the casual setting, your boat operator is trained in the maritime education system. You are also insured as if you were a passenger on a commercial vessel.
Meeting Point
On the quay outside Teglholmens Sydkaj 8, 2450 København.
The Harbor tour departs from Teglværkshavnen, the southernmost part of Copenhagen Harbor.
Another location for boarding may be arranged, if You prefer.
Maritime and Safety
When we are on the water, maritime law applies.
It is a legal requirement for boats to carry appropriate life jackets for all occupants (they don’t necessarily need to be worn but must be onboard). Nordan is equipped with a sufficient number of adult life jackets as standard. If there are children in your group and you do not bring suitable child-sized life jackets, please indicate this when making your reservation, and the boat operator will ensure the correct life jackets are provided.
What does it cost?
A standard harbor tour has a duration of about two hours and is priced at 800 DKK, to be paid immediately upon reservation.
We strive to keep both our and your expenses as low as possible, and therefore, payment is conveniently and securely handled via Stripe card payment.
Payment, Cancellation, and Refund
In cases where current currents or weather conditions could make sailing risky or uncomfortable – based on the boat operator’s assessment – the harbor tour will be canceled, and you will receive a full refund. We also reserve the right to cancel the tour in the event of any mechanical issues, and you will receive full refund. You have the right to cancel with a full refund up to 4 days before the event.
